Bethlehem is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Bethlehem is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Update: Now they took the Bulk Food section away!!! I guess they cannot resist making it just like their other stores, ugh!!!! I use to LOVE this store. And the employees (for the most part). The new owners said in 2021 that the name Valley Farm Market would stay atop the building...let's see. The produce is still good and some other thongs, but they switched to a different warehouse because it is a little cheaper. I know this because I was a vendor there at the time and price of our product was questioned because it was 3 cents cheaper at the warehouse. The bakery is not as good anymore. Also twice I purchase rhubarb there (very expensive) and it went moldy in 2 days. Also I did sign up for the card but now you also need to go in and "clip coupons" for the extra savings. Also the lottery and cigarettes are gone which was hard on the owners of that leased space. Strange. They did however bring plants back in like when VFM was on Easton Avenue. Some things have stayed the same and the owners are smart to leave most of the store as is so they retain the strong clientele of VFM...but I am thinking that will not last forever. Overall I will stop in here for a quick stop but not my reg

went in at 8pm and when i checked out there were 6 employees just standing there doing nothing so i asked if there was a lane open so i could check out. The lady says β no, only self checkout β. That to me is a complete joke! I was exhausted from work and the last thing I wanna do is bag my own groceries. I will never come back to this place again. Terrible customer service. Not only that the employee were just standing around cursing and yukking it up with each other. Wow the customers are doing their job and bagging their own groceries. What a joke. Theyβll be out of business soon with as much competition as there is. I really just donβt understand the logic behind making everybody go through self check out. At least have one lane open for people who might be tired. I wish I can give them zero stars honestly as frustrated as I am. Then on top of that, everything that I had that was on sale, she tells me I had to scan the coupons before I scan the items because theyβre digital coupons! I swear I will never come back here. I donβt recommend anyone else come back here. This place is terrible.

Seems like Max 3 registers open at a time no matter how many people standing in line I remember when every registered was working and people got in and out of the store quickly customer service

Would give 0 stars if I could. They mark things on sale, don't give the sale price. Tell you that you have to get out of line, to get in another line to sign up for a new card, then have to get in another line again to check out AGAIN. I told the girl I was in a hurry and late for work. A single mom just trying to make it and feed her kids with the little money she had. Instead of offering a store card, or hand me a card to set up for later use (like most other stores do), she covers her ears and fails to give a resolution other than "I can take them off the purchase" when it was literally the only three items I was purchasing for my kids' dinner. By my calculations, they got $10 extra from me from what they said it would cost on the tag, just because I didn't have time to hop in multiple lines and wait to set up a card. That's an hours pay, gone. If you can sell it that cheap, then just sell it, no extra gimmick or trouble for customers. This place has certainly gone down hill since switching owners.
